Hello, colleagues, community partners, and friends,
I’m writing to share that my time with The Blue Bench is coming to a close. I have notified our staff and board of directors of my intention to exit The Blue Bench by the end of the year.
I still have a lot of work to do alongside our amazing team.
Over the next four months, we will operationalize our new strategic plan, navigate the significant impact of VOCA cuts, and address the ongoing challenges of operating in a post-COVID, financially under-resourced nonprofit community.
Our commitment to supporting survivors and remaining present in an ever-changing world remains our #1 priority.
The board of directors is taking a thoughtful approach to this transition and is seeking an Interim or Co-Interim executive director. This is a temporary role that will support the plans in place and the collective decision-making of the leadership team and board of directors.
