Colorado Gives Day is just around the corner—a day when the community comes together to support local nonprofits making a difference. Starting a fundraiser for The Blue Bench not only amplifies the impact of this essential work but also helps survivors on their path to healing.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward critical services like therapy, advocacy, and a 24/7 crisis hotline for survivors. It also fuels The Blue Bench’s prevention education programs, which aim to create a future free from sexual violence.
By starting a fundraiser, you’re becoming part of a movement that says, “We believe survivors, and we can create change.”
How to start your own fundraiser for The Blue Bench:
To create your own personal fundraiser, head over to The Blue Bench’s Colorado Gives Day page.
Once you arrive at the page, you will see a large “Fundraise” button.
1. Click on the “Fundraise” button and select “get started” to begin creating your fundraising page.
2. Make sure you have “use template provided by organization” checked, so you don’t have to design your page from scratch. Then click “build fundraiser”.
3. After you select “build your fundraiser," we'll be notified to review your page. You will receive an email once your page is live and ready to be shared!
We suggest changing the title of your fundraising page to include your first name, so we can identify the difference between pages.
Once your fundraiser has been approve, start to share your fundraiser with friends, family, and your social media networks! Tell your community why fundraising for The Blue Bench is important to you, how The Blue Bench supports survivors and loved ones, and why you need them to join this essential mission!
