Art submission for 2024 is now closed.

Thank you for your interest in submitting artwork for The Blue Bench's 2024 April art show, RISE. This is The Blue Bench's third annual art show featuring art by survivors of sexual violence. The purpose of this show is to showcase the voices, stories, and healing journeys of survivors of sexual violence.

This art show will be held at the RemainReal Fine Art gallery on Santa Fe, 901 Santa Fe Dr, Denver, CO 80204. This show will be hung in the gallery April 1st through the 4th, with the exhibit opening April 5th. The exhibit will close on April 28th.

What to know:

• This show is free to enter. 
• If selected, you will need to drop off your artwork at The Blue Bench main office or at the gallery location. Instructions for drop off will be given after your artwork has been selected. 
• There will be a private reception for TBB staff, artists, etc. for the show. Details to follow
• You will need to have your art ready to be hung prior to drop off. This means you will need to have your canvases wired, and any artwork or photographs done on paper need to be framed with hanging hardware. If you are submitting written work, please have it printed and framed with hanging hardware for drop off. If you have any other ways you'd like written pieces to be presented, please let us know in the form below.

• You may submit up to three pieces of art per artist. Note that this is subject to change.
• We are accepting paintings, drawings, photos, written works, and other mediums. If you are interested in doing any type of performance piece or oral reading, please email Carolyn Ferrick at (cferrick@thebluebench.org) to discuss your ideas. 
• Size limitation: Max 36" width. If you would like to submit a piece larger than these dimensions, please reach out to Carolyn Ferrick at (cferrick@thebluebench.org
