The Blue Bench is pleased to announce Michelle Wiley as our interim Executive Director.
Michelle brings expertise in trauma-informed care, financial and business analysis, organizational restructuring, and leading transformative initiatives. Her leadership will ensure The Blue Bench continues to be a reliable resource for survivors of sexual violence in the Denver metro area.
Michelle and outgoing Executive Director Megan Carvajal have worked closely to guarantee a seamless transition. Michelle’s tenure as interim Executive Director is expected to last approximately six months as our Board and leadership team conduct a thorough search for a permanent Executive Director who will build on our mission and vision for the future.
During this pivotal time, The Blue Bench is addressing reductions in VOCA funding through rigorous grant applications and carrying out a comprehensive organizational restructuring strategy. These efforts aim to reinforce our long-term sustainability and strengthen our impact on the community.
We remain deeply committed to providing hope and healing to survivors of sexual violence.
