At The Blue Bench, we believe that changing the conversation about sexual assault is a community-wide effort.

At this time, we are unable to offer prevention programming for schools and/or other entities outside of the Denver-Metro area (The Blue Bench serves Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson, and Lincoln County.)

This curriculum is designed to empower participants with knowledge, tools, and strategies for talking about sexual assault with young children and intervening when they recognize warning signs.

To help equip adults and students alike, The Blue Bench offers programs that enable them to comfortably and efficiently talk about sexual assault with their family and friends, their neighbors, and within their communities.

Developed in collaboration with high school students, educators, and practitioners, Uniting in Action: Creating a Culture to Prevent Sexual Violence builds on the knowledge of participants to empower them in their role in shaping community responses to sexual violence.

This curriculum focuses on healthy relationships, boundaries, and skill-building to become an active bystander for middle school youth.

Led by The Blue Bench’s Community Educators and co-facilitated with Peer Educators, women currently incarcerated at DWCF who are part of the Peer Educator program, participants learn about their rights and protections under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).

We are available to work with you and tailor a workshop to fit your needs and audience.
