The Blue Bench Presents

Recovery is ongoing, there is no end in sight. Only the movement through the storms that come as part of the journey. My cycle begins at Depression. Hazy eye and confused words cut and pasted on top of old art created in the depths of sadness. It moves into Anger, overwhelming and visceral in its pain. Hands and heart revealed in action. Numbness comes next, dark as night, and hollow.

Words empty and almost lost. Finally, we reach Hope, full of brightness and love. Notes from family, smiles abound, and reminders of moments of joy.   The cycle goes on and on and on and on.
